ABOUT TRUST ME
(read reviews)

This new book about Mary Magdalene uncovers an ancient murder – one that affected not only the family and people close to it – but maybe all of mankind.

Called "brilliant" by one reviewer in a radio interview, this book is an inviting combination of the real everyday life of the author Anne Urne and the intense and amazing revelations she was given. It makes it a great read.

Cousins, Anne Urne, author and publisher from Oklahoma City, and Susan McCubbin, media consultant and marketing director, from San Francisco, have re-united after more than 40 years.  Both were born in Illinois, spent their childhoods together and then moved across the country. When they reunited magic happened and they both learned of each other’s interests and the result is the launch of their book Trust Me, the untold story of Mary Magdalene.

The author, Anne Urne says, “People wouldn’t believe the wild adventures Susan and I had when we traveled twice to visit the grotto, Basilica and underground tomb of Mary Magdalene in southern France.”  Cousin Susan adds, “Think ships, planes, trains, cars and a priest in tow. We had amazing adventures and uncanny, even strange happenings on these two trips – enough for a new book we think.” The book’s cover is a photo from the actual tomb of Mary Magdalene taken by Susan McCubbin underneath the Basilica of Mary Magdalene.

A FEW RECENT REVIEWS:

"I
haven't read anything like it in all my studies in seven years. If I was still teaching (theology) I would include this book in my syllabus"
... the way that you were able to get to
the point and show how you pieced everything together based on all of the research you did,
I thought it was brilliant.

"When I was home sick, this was the only book my mom had handy so I picked it up. The subject didn't look like my cup of tea - I like murder mysteries - but I read it. I'm glad I did. It is really easy to read and fascinating at the same time.
I highly recommend it."

"You have written a truly amazing book that I have not been able to put down. I must say, that some of your reasoning, I didn't think I would agree with.  However, when I reached the end, I totally agreed.  You swayed a died-in-the-wool Protestant.
Now, I need to start some searching".

"I'm not necessarily a religious person but I loved Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code so I bought this book. I ended up learning a lot. This book really gives you food for thought. If you like history and spiritual
mysteries, this book is for you.
